Renigunta is the airport side of Tirupati, and it is where a lot of darshan trips actually begin — people fly in, and the temple is still a drive away. From here to Tirumala is roughly 39 km and about an hour and a quarter once the Alipiri checkpost is counted, which is more than the map suggests and worth knowing before you book a slot for that morning.

Pickup tip — Send the flight number when you book. Landing times move, and a driver who knows the actual arrival waits for the flight rather than the hour.
