On the road

The Carens is the car for passengers who want to arrive comfortable on an 11-hour drive. Its cabin is newer than the Ertiga's — more structured seats, better sound deadening, a slightly wider feel — and it carries four bags without the middle row's occupants feeling the weight of the boot. It is what we recommend when a family has done the Hyderabad–Vizag run before and wants the leg room to actually sleep through part of it.

On a pure highway like NH16 (Vijayawada to Visakhapatnam), the Carens' suspension setup and quieter cabin make the 350 km feel shorter than it is. The stiffer ride that makes it excellent on tarmac makes it less ideal on ghat roads with sharp switchbacks — for Araku or Srisailam hill sections, we would lean toward the Ertiga's lighter build.

Practically: both cars seat six and handle most routes. The Carens costs slightly more and earns it on comfort, not on capacity. If your group is five or six and the road is long and flat, this is the upgrade worth having.

Great on these roads

Choosing between this and the Maruti Suzuki Ertiga?

If you are heading into the ghats (Araku, Srisailam), the Ertiga's lighter build suits the climbs better. The Carens is the comfort pick for long highway runs — if the road is mostly flat, it is worth the step up.

Kia Carens hire — FAQs

How many people fit in a Kia Carens?

6 passengers plus the driver, with room for 4 bags. Comfort-first family trips — modern, spacious cabin. If your group is between sizes, tell us the headcount and the luggage on WhatsApp and we'll say which car actually works — an over-full car is a miserable way to spend a long drive.

What does a Kia Carens cost per day?

₹5,999 per day for the SUV tier, covering 300 km in that day. Per day, 300 km included. Tolls, driver allowance and taxes are inside the fare — nothing added at the end. Exact fare confirmed on WhatsApp before you travel.

Does the Kia Carens come with a driver?

Yes — every car goes out with a local, Telugu-speaking driver who knows the roads. We don't do self-drive. Tolls, driver allowance and taxes are inside the fare, so there's nothing added at the end of the trip.

Do I have to pay an advance?

No advance. You pay by UPI directly to us on pickup — never cash to the driver. That means asking for a quote costs you nothing, and you're not out of pocket if plans change.

Which trips is the Kia Carens best on?

Hyderabad → Visakhapatnam (620 km) and Vijayawada → Visakhapatnam (350 km) — a modern, comfortable cabin for longer trips. It's available for any route across Andhra Pradesh and Telangana though, one-way or round trip.

Can I get a Kia Carens on rent in Hyderabad or Vijayawada?

Yes. Kia Carens rental runs from every city we cover — Hyderabad, Visakhapatnam, Vijayawada, Tirupati, Warangal, Guntur, Araku Valley — and the car reaches your address rather than you coming to a counter. Outstation drops beyond those cities are normal too; the fare is quoted for the whole trip either way. Tell us the pickup city and date on WhatsApp and we'll confirm the car is free.

Can I book a Kia Carens for an outstation trip or an airport run?

Both. The same car and driver cover airport transfers, local hire by the day, temple trips and multi-day outstation drives — the fare is quoted per day either way, so a single airport run and a four-day road trip are priced on the same basis.
