On the road
The Rumion is the car for seven people who actually want to travel together rather than split into two smaller vehicles. Its third row is a real seat with real legroom — not the fold-up bench that made the Innova's back row famous for lower-back ache. On an overnight Tirupati run, three rows of two means everyone gets a proper seat for the nine-hour drive, and nobody is owed an apology on arrival.
Toyota reliability is the other reason we run it. The Hyderabad–Vizag–Araku route is 790 km each way, and the roads between Visakhapatnam and the valley involve sustained ghat driving. Toyota's service network and the Rumion's engine calibration for loaded highway and hill work make it the sensible choice when there are seven people and bags depending on a car that has to keep moving.
The Rumion carries three to four bags in the boot with all three rows occupied — not four large suitcases, but a realistic family packing for three nights. If your group is packing heavily, tell us the bag count; for large-group, heavy-luggage travel, the Tempo Traveller removes the constraint entirely.
Great on these roads
Hyderabad → Tirupati
560 km · 9 hrs
The nine-hour Tirupati drive is long enough that the Rumion's proper third row — not a fold-up bench — makes a meaningful difference for a full family arriving for darshan.
Hyderabad → Visakhapatnam
620 km · 11 hrs
At 620 km, this is a two-day drive for most groups; seven proper seats and Toyota's highway calibration make the Rumion the right size for a family that does not want to split across two cars.
Hyderabad → Araku Valley
790 km · 13–14 hrs
The full Araku run is 790 km with a ghat section at the end; the Rumion handles it loaded, and keeps a party of seven together for the whole crossing.
Choosing between this and the Kia Carens?
If your party is six, not seven, the Carens is a more comfortable fit — its three rows work better with two people each than the Rumion's tighter six-person configuration. The Rumion earns its rate when the seventh seat is genuinely needed.

How many people fit in a Toyota Rumion?
7 passengers plus the driver, with room for 3–4 bags. Families & groups on longer trips — comfortable 7-seater. If your group is between sizes, tell us the headcount and the luggage on WhatsApp and we'll say which car actually works — an over-full car is a miserable way to spend a long drive.
What does a Toyota Rumion cost per day?
₹5,499 per day for the Compact tier, covering 300 km in that day. Per day, 300 km included. Tolls, driver allowance and taxes are inside the fare — nothing added at the end. Exact fare confirmed on WhatsApp before you travel.
Does the Toyota Rumion come with a driver?
Yes — every car goes out with a local, Telugu-speaking driver who knows the roads. We don't do self-drive. Tolls, driver allowance and taxes are inside the fare, so there's nothing added at the end of the trip.
Do I have to pay an advance?
No advance. You pay by UPI directly to us on pickup — never cash to the driver. That means asking for a quote costs you nothing, and you're not out of pocket if plans change.
Which trips is the Toyota Rumion best on?
Hyderabad → Tirupati (560 km) and Hyderabad → Visakhapatnam (620 km) and Hyderabad → Araku Valley (790 km) — toyota's 7-seater mpv — roomy and easy on the long haul. It's available for any route across Andhra Pradesh and Telangana though, one-way or round trip.
Can I get a Toyota Rumion on rent in Hyderabad or Vijayawada?
Yes. Toyota Rumion rental runs from every city we cover — Hyderabad, Visakhapatnam, Vijayawada, Tirupati, Warangal, Guntur, Araku Valley — and the car reaches your address rather than you coming to a counter. Outstation drops beyond those cities are normal too; the fare is quoted for the whole trip either way. Tell us the pickup city and date on WhatsApp and we'll confirm the car is free.
Can I book a Toyota Rumion for an outstation trip or an airport run?
Both. The same car and driver cover airport transfers, local hire by the day, temple trips and multi-day outstation drives — the fare is quoted per day either way, so a single airport run and a four-day road trip are priced on the same basis.
